About the Artist...

Rick Blankenship is a fine artist based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, with over 15 years of experience in creating original paintings and drawings. Specializing in oils, acrylics, watercolors, and gouache, his work reflects a strong foundation in representational art. Rick has exhibited in galleries across the western and southwestern United States, earning recognition from collectors both domestically and internationally.

His artistic development has been shaped by studying with renowned artists such as David Leffel and Sherrie McGraw, as well as accomplished instructors at the Art Students League of Denver. In addition to his dedication to painting and teaching, Rick enjoys playing tennis and fly fishing for wild trout in Colorado’s scenic streams.
