From my beginnings in Cuba to building a new life and family in the US, I’ve always deeply appreciated art. After a thriving career in the tech industry, I’ve now turned my focus, energy, and commitment to creating art.
As an acrylic fluid artist, my work expresses energy, movement, and spontaneity. I don’t use paintbrushes—just my hands, intuition, and a willingness to embrace the unpredictable. Through pouring, spinning, and tilting, I guide vibrant pigments across the canvas, allowing bold colors, iridescent mica, and dynamic patterns to emerge in ways that surprise and exhilarate me.
Fluid art is a dance between control and surrender.
While I carefully prepare my materials and techniques, once the final layer is poured, the paint takes on a life of its own. Cells form, lacing appears, and the composition comes alive before my eyes. It's a thrilling, immediate process—there's no waiting, no overthinking, just creation in real time. And the final reveal, after varnishing, is always a moment of discovery, where depth and luminosity reach their peak.
For me, fluid art is about risk and reward. Each piece is an adventure, a leap into the unknown, where the outcome isn’t fully realized until the painting dries. That unpredictability, the balance between intention and serendipity, is what keeps me captivated. I want my work to bring joy, energy, and inspiration to those who view or collect it—just as it does for me in the act of creation.
