We're delighted to announce open calls for YOU! 

Entries are being accepted for our Juried Art Competition from brilliant artists from all over the United States!

We invite artists from all backgrounds to submit their artwork for our juried exhibition entitled “Exuberance.” The exhibition is an incredible opportunity for artists like yourself to showcase your creativity and talent to a broader audience.

· Art Mozaik Gallery especially values the contributions of New Mexico’s diversified and flourishing arts community. We hope that by putting out this call for art in New Mexico, we may help to draw attention to the abundance of creative ability in the area and give local artists a chance to be seen.

CATEGORY:

We are seeking artworks that embody the essence of exuberance, vibrancy, imagination, and innovation. We believe that artists who specialized in 2D visual artwork in any media would be a perfect fit for this competition: paintings in all medium, drawing, photography, printmaking. Our size requirements: art is no bigger than 16”x20” (320 square inches or less) and preferably (but not required) with no frame.

SELECTION CRITERIA INCLUDE:

•  Uniqueness and originality
•  Vivid and colorful
•  Visual impact
•  Demonstrated excellence of technique
• “Exuberance” is a juried exhibition that will be held in our gallery Art Mozaik Fine Art Gallery  located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. 
• The exhibition will run from January 3, 2024 to January 31, 2024.

IMPORTANT DATES

Submission Deadline: December 20th, 2023

Notification Date: December 26, 2023

Artwork must arrive by: December 31, 2023

Exhibition Dates: January 3- January 31, 2024

Reception Date: January 5, 2023 from 4-7pm

Unsold works pickup/returned: February 1-3, 2024  (11am-1pm)

SUBMISSION FEE:

•  $45 for up to three submissions (non-refundable)
•  Payment can be made by credit card via PayPal Button (at the bottom of the page) or check.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

•  Applications accepted from living artists over the age of 18.
•  All works must be original.
•  All works must be for sale.
•  All artwork must be no larger than 16”x20” preferably with no frame.
•  No copies, diptychs or computer-generated work.
•  Entries must not be copies or derivatives based in any way on other copyrighted or published paintings, photographs or other artistic work. Any infraction of this rule will result in disqualification.
• Entries must not have been produced as part of a class instruction.
• All accepted artworks must be ready to hang/display with the proper hardware (i.e., paintings with wire).
• Media accepted: paintings in any medium, drawing, printmaking, photography.

DIGITAL IMAGE FILE SPECIFICATIONS :

• Manipulation: Cropped to only show the artwork image
• File format: JPEG
• Size: 1920 pixels maximum on the longest side and 540 pixels minimum on the shortest side
• Suggested resolution: 300 dpi
• File name: LAST NAME_ TITLE (e.g. Picasso_Dream) 

• Submit UP to THREE IMAGES in .jpg or .png format (with resolution of at least 300 dpi and no less than 1200 pixel on long side of image) via the form below.

Include the following annotations in text box:

•  Artist’s name
•  Brief bio
•  Phone, Email
•  Social Media Links (Optional)
•  Website (Optional)

Include the following annotations in text box for each art piece:

•  Title of Artwork ( e.g., Picasso_Dream)
•  Category/ medium/ surface (e.g. (painting/oil/canvas)
•  Size in inches: (Height x Width x Depth)
•  Price of artwork ($)
   

 SALES OF ARTWORK

Each accepted artist will receive a contract which include information regarding sales, payment, shipping, and more. The artist will assume full responsibility for purchasing insurance for the art work displayed.

Gallery collects a 35% commission from each sale. Artist receives 65% plus tax with deduction of a 2.6% processing fee from Square. Artist is responsible for paying tax individually. Artist is responsible for shipping sold art to buyers or may use our companion shipping company in Santa Fe.

AGREEMENT OF ENTRY AND LIABILITY

• Jury has the right to refuse or disqualify any artwork that fails to meet eligibility, entry, and exhibition requirements or deemed inappropriate for public viewing. 
• Exhibiting artists are responsible for insuring their work during transit and exhibition. 
• An artist’s entry submission and payment constitute acceptance of all terms and conditions in this prospectus.

Art Exhibition

 The selected artworks will be featured in a prestigious exhibition at our renowned Santa Fe gallery, offering you the opportunity to gain exposure, recognition, and potentially even attract collectors and art enthusiasts. 

Artworks will be displayed for sale throughout January 2024 at 

Art Mozaik Fine Art Gallery on Canyon Road in Santa Fe, NM.
 

Artist Profile Page
Artworks from selected artists will be published on the gallery website for two months. www.4artmozaik.com

Certificate
A digital certificate will be issued for all selected artists to promote on social media.
